James LeGrand is the author of "Evolve!", which has appeared in Amazon.com's Top 25 in Religion and Spirituality New Age Reference Books.  James LeGrand is also an Expert Author with SelfGrowith.com and EzineArticles.com. 

James also has a successful Life Coaching practice.   In addition, he is a Sifu (which means teacher or master) in Shaolin Kungfu, which has been known for centuries as a pathway to spiritual enlightenment. A life long resident of New Jersey, James obtained his Bachelors degree from Seton Hall University and then directed his energy towards establishing himself within the corporate world to eventually become a Vice President in a Fortune 500 Financial Services firm. 

Life can sometimes deal harsh blows to each of us, and James did not go unscathed.  From being raised in a predominately urban environment, to his tenure at Seton Hall, and from his leadership in the conference rooms of Corporate America, James confronted an array of challenges from within the boardroom and the neighborhood from which he was raised.  After finding his spirituality at an early age, he implemented that sense of connection into all aspects of his lifestyle and in every personal and professional challenge he faced.

Many things in James' life didn't go according to plan.  He was divorced at an early age and left to raise a child on his own.  While a single dad, James was also laid off from a lucrative position and found himself out of work for a full year. However, James continued to not only survive, but to thrive. Due to his sense of self as a spiritual individual, today he has multiple streams of income, found and married his true soul, and found a deep sense of calm and peace of mind through advanced inner meditation and outter observation. It was during the darkest of times that James remembered that it's not what happens to you, but how you respond to what happends to you that shapes your life.  James personally lived every concept he wrote about in his book "Evolve!"
